🐾 Dog-Friendly Policy

We’re happy to welcome your four-legged companions at Buffalo Pound Eco Lodge! To help us prepare for your stay and ensure a great experience for all guests (both two- and four-legged), please call or email us in advance if you plan to bring a dog.

There is no additional charge to bring a pet.

Pet Policy Guidelines:

  • 🐶 One dog per cabin

  • 🦴 Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside

  • 🚫 Dogs cannot be left unattended inside the cabin at any time

  • 🛏️ Guests bringing a dog must bring their own bedding, including pillows, sheets, and blankets or sleeping bags

Guests not bringing a dog will be provided with full bedding.

We appreciate your help in keeping our cabins clean and comfortable for everyone. If you have any questions about your dog’s stay, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to help!

🗓️ Cancellation & Rebooking Policy – Buffalo Pound Eco Lodge

We get it—life happens. While we’re a small, seasonal lodge and rely on advance bookings, we do our best to be fair and flexible with changes.

✅ Cancellations Made 14+ Days Before Arrival

If you cancel 14 or more days before your scheduled check-in, we’ll refund your deposit minus a $75 cancellation fee per tipi cabin.

❌ Cancellations Made Less Than 14 Days Before Arrival

If you cancel within 14 days of your check-in date, the full cost of your stay is non-refundable.
 However, if we’re able to rebook your tipi cabin, we’ll refund the recovered amount, minus the $75 fee.

🔁 Need to Reschedule Instead?

Want to move your stay to another date? If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we’re happy to help you reschedule your booking once at no charge, based on availability.

Reschedule requests made within 14 days of arrival will be treated as cancellations unless we’re able to rebook your original dates.

📅 Date Changes or Shortened Stays

Changes to your arrival or departure dates that result in a shorter stay are considered partial cancellations and may be subject to the same policies and fees above.

🚫 No nds For:

  • Late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • No-shows
